India's Neeraj Chopra scripted history on Sunday as he came the alternate Indian to win a order at the World Athletics Crowns after Anju Bobby George achieved the feat in 2003. Neeraj registered a gamble of88.13 m in his fourth attempt and hence he secured the tableware order. Anderson Peters secured the gold order after registering a gamble of90.54m.
After the palm, Neeraj spoke about how he spoke to Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, and complimented him for a great gamble in the final.

I further complimented him for a great gamble and it was a great comeback from his injury and it was estimable that he threw the pikestaff over 86 metres," said Neeraj during a virtual press conference.

It was during the Jakarta Asian Games in 2018, a picture of Arshad and Neeraj had gone viral when the brace were chatting each other at the tribune.
Neeraj also opened up about feeling a little discomfort in his ham after the fourth attempt in the final.
" After the 4th gamble, I did feel a bit of discomfort in my ham, I was not suitable to put in that important trouble. That was on my mind, but I just wanted to make sure I can throw. So I strapped my ham. Hopefully it'll be fine. I'll know by morning how it feels or if there's commodity to worry about," said Neeraj.
